The University of Zakho Commemorates World Earth Day

On April 22, 2024, the University of Zakho commemorates World Earth Day by conducting a tree planting initiative within the university campus. 

The event was attended by the university council, faculty members, staff, students, and representatives from public and private institutions who collaborated under the supervision of the President, Prof. Nadhim S. Jakhsi, in conjunction with the Dean of the College of Science and the Department of Environmental Sciences.

Subsequently, efforts were initiated to clean and improve the university environment following the tree-planting activities.
